While this is a full stack position, the primary focus is on backend architecture, integrations, and platform scalability.\nWhat You'll Do\nServe as the technical leader and subject matter expert across multiple engineering teams.\nDrive modernization efforts across Java services, APIs, databases, messaging platforms, and cloud infrastructure.\nLead design and implementation of scalable microservices and enterprise integration solutions.\nPartner with engineering teams to improve platform resiliency, performance, scalability, and maintainability.\nDefine and promote engineering best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns.\nMentor engineers through technical leadership, design reviews, and hands-on collaboration.\nHelp guide the organization's migration from on-prem/containerized environments to AWS cloud solutions.\nCollaborate with Product, Architecture, Security, and Engineering stakeholders to solve complex business and technical challenges.\nRequired Qualifications\n10+ years of software engineering experience with increasing technical leadership responsibilities.\nStrong hands-on experience with Java and modern backend development frameworks.\nExperience designing and building microservices-based applications.\nStrong experience with RESTful API design, development, and integration.\nDeep understanding of SQL and enterprise database technologies, including Oracle.\nExperience working with messaging and event-driven architectures (Kafka or similar technologies).\nProven ability to lead technical initiatives across multiple teams without direct people management responsibility.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction and mentor engineers.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with AWS cloud technologies and cloud migration initiatives.\nExperience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, or containerized environments.\nFamiliarity with identity and access management solutions such as Okta.\nExposure to Angular and/or React applications.\nExperience working in large-scale, high-availability enterprise environments.\nExperience with multi-tenant or white-label application architectures.\nWhat We're Looking For\nWe're looking for a collaborative technical leader who enjoys being the person others turn to for their toughest engineering problems.
