Hybrid in Doral, FL (3 days onsite)MUST BE LOCALOne and done interviewOngoing contractUSC1099 w2 CTCOriginal job descriptionIdeally, I am looking for someone with experience in maritime shipping - preferably a naval architect or a marine engineer.If there is a strong candidate without direct experience in the field, I am also open to hiring them as a junior PM, provided their background is related to the maritime industry.I would prefer someone with a degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering. We need to work on some complex technical projects, and an engineering background will be crucial. I would rather have a less experienced PM with a degree in engineering than a more experienced PM without this knowledge.Create detailed plans that outline the project's scope, objectives, tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and budget.Provide work specifications to purchasing department for the bidding process to installation companies as per CCL requirements.Identify the materials to be supplied to comply with CCL requirements.Define - or review as proposed by the selected installation company – relevant applicable Project Execution Plan.Organize and supervise logistics.Oversee the implementation of the project plan, monitor progress, manage resources, and address any issues that arise. #9723581 v1Identify potential risks that could impact the project's success and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.Maintain effective communication between stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.Liaise with CCL Technical Operation dept. to gather requirements and feedbacks.Liaise with the third parties, e.g., equipment makers etc., if required.Report on all above activities as required by CCL.Ensure that the final deliverables meet the specified quality standards and align with the project's objectives.Ship inspections and Dry-dock attendance when required to successfully complete the project
