We will rely on your expertise to provide accurate reporting, identify potential risks, and help maintain budget accountability throughout the project lifecycle.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nDevelop, track, and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports for Life Science and Office Tenant Improvement projects.\nMonitor project expenditures and commitments to ensure alignment with approved budgets.\nAnalyze project cost trends and identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving measures.\nAssist project teams with budget management, change order tracking, and financial reporting.\nPrepare and maintain cost forecasts, cash flow projections, and earned value analysis.\nCollaborate with estimators and preconstruction teams to support budgeting and project planning efforts.\nReview subcontractor contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and change requests for cost accuracy and compliance.\nSupport monthly project reviews and executive reporting.\nMaintain cost databases and historical project cost information to improve future estimating accuracy.\nWork closely with project managers, superintendents, accounting teams, and executive leadership to ensure financial transparency and project success.\nAssist in developing and improving cost control processes, procedures, and reporting tools.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\n3+ years of experience in construction cost engineering, project controls, estimating, project management, or a related field.\nExperience supporting Life Science, laboratory, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or Office Tenant Improvement construction projects.\nStrong understanding of construction budgets, forecasting, cost reporting, and financial controls.\nKnowledge of commercial construction means, methods, and building systems.\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel and construction management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, CMiC, Sage, Viewpoint, or similar platforms.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nExcellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.\n\nBenefits\n\nBase ($115,000-$135,000) + Bonus\n401K Match\nFull Medical, Dental and Vision\nGenerous PTO\nCell Phone, Laptop\n- For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
