You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a great Guest experience by ensuring that our food is prepared and served in a safe manner while maintaining our high-quality standards. You will be responsible for everything from maintaining a clean and functional service line and lobby to on the spot developing and coaching of your CTs and Team Members.\n\nShift Manager Core Responsibilities:\nMaintaining quality by monitoring staff and sampling products at various stages of production\nEnforcing District Taco's safe food handling practices using the HACCP plan\nOverseeing all aspects of food preparation\nWorking to ensure that the restaurant opens and closes according to company standards\nCommunicating concerns and needs with supervisors and staff\nAssessing general enthusiasm and morale to find ways to improve Team Member wellbeing\nWorking towards healthy communication among team members\nCommunicating clear expectations to Team Members and guiding staff to ensure prescribed goals are met\nAcknowledging positive and negative behavior through progressive discipline forms\nMonitoring hourly labor, coordinating breaks and clocking-out Team Members as needed\nMaintaining organization of storage areas to ensure rotation of goods\nAssessing needs and ordering supplies for the restaurant\nOverseeing Catering orders\nControlling alcohol sales to ensure proper handling guidelines are met\nEnsuring that all cash is counted and logged throughout shifts\nInteracting with guests and Team Members to ensure customer satisfaction\nResolving customer service issues if they arise\nShift Manager Qualifications:\nDistrict Taco Certified Trainer\nPossesses strong skills in communication, listening, collaboration, adaptability, empathy, and patience\nHave a true passion for facilitating all of District Taco’s operational procedures\nPossesses a strong knowledge of all District Taco’s Team Member Policies\nKnowledge of Food Safety and health department policies\nAbility to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location\nFully vaccinated or in the process of being fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
