We have an increasing user base, and you will be focusing on implementing and enhancing our investment and financial products. Our customers trust us with a lot: integrating seamlessly across financial institutions, moving funds, tracking balances, helping with their healthcare decisions, and keeping their data extremely secure.\n\nIn order to take on this mission we're building our applications on modern web technologies around HTML/CSS/Javascript/React, NodeJS/Typescript, PostgreSQL, Amazon Lambdas and Kinesis etc. You should be comfortable in contributing to every part of the stack: from UI to API development, to complex integrations with financial institutions and partners, and building infrastructure, but you will be expected to be focused mostly on backend development. You should feel comfortable in a fast paced, growing, and nimble environment, keeping in mind that everything we do is to better the lives of our users!\n\nResponsibilities\n\nAnalyze and provide feedback on product requirements.\nImplement features and functionality with clean and maintainable codes.\nTake pride in software quality through rigorous functional testing and writing automated unit tests.\nTroubleshoot production issues, provide resolutions and recommendations for improvement.\n\nSkills & Experience\n\n5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong backend development background\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.\nStrong experience with Javascript, Typescript and Node.js.\nStrong fundamental understanding of relational Databases (Postgresql, Mysql).\nProven experience in designing and developing scalable, high-performance web applications.\nStrong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.\nProven experience on building backend services with high availability and scalability requirements.\nAble to model and design intuitive and scalable schemas.\nExperience with agile/scrum development methodologies.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.\nPassion for technology and a continuous learner mindset.\nMotivated to leverage new AI tools and technologies.\nSomeone who isn't afraid of responsibility, a good sense of humor and a down-to-earth personality.\nFamiliarity with AWS cloud platforms and DevOps practices is a plus.\n\nHere's a glimpse into our Interview Process:\n\nRecruiting Interview (30 min via google video)\nHiring Manager Interview (1 hr via google video)\nTechnical Interview/Coding Exercise (90 min )\nPanel Interview (Meet various leaders cross-functionally, split up into 4-5 video calls for 30-45 min each)\nOffer!\n\nWe encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all of the qualifications, but feel you would be a good fit for the position.\n\nBenefits & Perks\n\nWe offer competitive salaries, stock options, medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage.
