As we enter the next phase of FBM there are large opportunities for growth and career development.\n\nAs a part of the FBM team, we can build, replenish, & modernize this crucial national asset with today’s tools & technology to benefit the world, the nation, our states, and our communities!\n\nLearn about the Trident II D5 Fleet Ballistic Missile.\n\nRole Overview\nAs a Systems Engineer, Staff you will:\n\nPerform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.\n\nPerform analysis at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.\n\nEnsure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.\n\nPerform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.\n\nPerform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies.\n\nPerform requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.\n\nOversee data management of a large set of facility equipment to ensure proper configuration and control.\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\nExperience supporting multiple projects concurrently in a functional capacity.\n\nExperience with technical drawings and documentation.\n\nFamiliarity with requirement development.\n\nProficient with desktop software tools to support product development.\n\nExperience with technical presentation development and public speaking.\n\nAbility to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance in support of government contract; US Citizenship required.\n\nDesired Skills\n\nBachelor’s Degree from accredited university in a related Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.\n\nFBM Program Experience.\n\nUnderstanding of the basic principles of Systems Engineering Lifecycle.\n\nDirect Experience managing requirements using DOORs, DOORS Next, JAMA, or similar.\n\nExperience with Cameo modeling and MBSE concepts.\n\nBasic understanding of project management.\n\nKnowledge of MILCON and FBM facility sustainment processes.\n\nExperience engaging with FBM or other government representatives.\n\nKnowledge of the Strategic Weapon Facilities and their missile processing functions.\n\nExperience working with equipment/material inventories and related databases.\n\nFamiliar with the classifications of FBM support equipment.\n\nAbility to lead a team and drive assignments to closure.\n\nSecurity Clearance\nThis position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.\n\nClearance Level: Secret\n\nOther Important Information You Should Know\n\nExpress of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match.
