Plant Operations Manager

Billy Heroman's is seeking to hire a Plant Division Operations Manager at their New Orleans, LA locations to oversee the day-to-day activities, ensuring that the team is performing both efficiently and effectively. Additionally, this individual is responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring that the installation crew and technicians are providing exceptional quality service in an efficient, productive and profitable manner.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team ManagementOversee daily operations and workflows to ensure efficiency, organization, and quality standards.Supervise, coach, and evaluate field technicians; provide constructive performance feedback.Manage staffing levels, including hiring and terminating employees in coordination with senior management and HR.Develop and implement training programs for new hires and ongoing team development.Collaborate with other managers to plan and coordinate installation projects.Client RelationsBuild and maintain strong client relationships through regular site visits and quality assurance reviews.Handle all client requests and complaints promptly and professionally.Send welcome communications to new clients and conduct account reviews within the first week of service.Approve large or unique client replacement requests.Operations & AdministrationManage and monitor work orders, scheduling, and account maintenance assignments in operations software.Ensure client site inventories are accurate and updated at least annually.Coordinate procurement, maintenance, and distribution of supplies, tools, and equipment.Oversee color rotation installation schedules (interior and exterior) and plant rental deliveries.Prepare administrative paperwork for rentals, account additions, and cancellations.Maintain awareness of cost-saving opportunities and communicate best practices to the team.Ensure upkeep of office, warehouse, and common areas.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Minimum 2 years of experience in plant care, horticulture, or a related industry preferred.Prior supervisory or team leadership experience strongly preferred.Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
