Must be willing to submit to a CI Polygraph upon customer request.\nLocation: Northern Virginia (Herndon or Springfield)\nWhat You'll Do:\nWork closely with software development, mission, and data science teams, using Docker to build, secure, maintain, and support applications.\nActively seek ways to improve CI/CD performance and streamline the DevSecOps process.\nUsing metrics and logs, identify opportunities to improve performance and reliability of our applications and systems.\nUse your experience with microservices to offer suggestions around architectural improvements in our applications.\nEnsure applications meet security control requirements.\nSupport software development activities as needed.\nMinimum Requirements:\nUS citizenship with active TS/SCI clearance.\nBachelor's degree in computer science or a related field with minimum 8 years’ experience.\nComfortable with Java Microservices, Docker, and Python.\nKnowledge of SQL databases (in particular, PostgreSQL)\nModerate Linux system administration experience (RedHat, Ubuntu, and/or CentOS).\nUnderstanding of modern architecture paradigms such as microservices, pub/sub, event-driven, RESTful APIs\nTroubleshoot and resolve network, automation pipelines, and infrastructure issues.\nBuild, maintain, and monitor configuration management of release product.\nPassion for implementing self-healing systems and automation.\nStrong communication skills, an endless appetite to learn, and a bias to action.\nAbility to learn new software and technologies quickly.\nIdentify manual processes that can be automated and help automate them.\nNice to Haves:\nExperience hardening systems including container images, client-server applications, and web applications.\nBackground in software development, preferably Java and/or JavaScript.\nExperience with GIS data, systems, and concepts.\nExperience with Kubernetes or other cluster management services.\nCompTIA Security+ or comparable certification for privileged user access.\nExperience in data processing with the Department of Defense (DoD) and/or the IC.\n#cjpost\n#LI-RD\n#LI-Onsite\nOur salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility.
