Hours for this position are typically:\r\n2nd shift Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm\r\n*Must be available to work overtime (daily, weekends & some holidays) *\r\nWHAT TOLEDO TOOL & DIE CAN OFFER YOU:\r\nStarting pay of $19.00/hour\r\n$1.50 shift premium (2nd shift)\r\nWeekly pay\r\n10 paid holidays\r\nFull benefits\r\nWHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT FOR THIS POSITION:\r\nPrevious experience in a factory is beneficial but not necessary\r\nStrong work ethic\r\nPositive attitude\r\nConsistent attendance\r\nWillingness to learn\r\nSafety minded\r\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\r\nPerform First/Last Piece audits to verify dimensions of finished parts for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, taper and pin gauges and dial indicators.\r\nAuthority to accept or reject finished items.\r\nInspect, test or measure metal stampings being produced. Weld destruct if in the Weld Department.\r\nInput and/or report data generated from audits and other sources as needed into various software programs.\r\nOrganize and maintain check fixture area.\r\nInterpret engineering drawings, diagrams or confers with other TTD Management to determine quality & reliability standards.\r\nRed Tag containers that have nonconforming parts and establish clean point in production between good and suspect product.\r\nPerform the essential job functions of Press Operator when significant downtime is present.\r\nPerform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and/or TTD Management representatives.\r\nAuthority to stop production if unsafe conditions or poor quality exist.\r\nRequirements\r\nRequirementsMust be at least 18 years of age.\r\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\r\nEligible to work in the United States.\r\nMust be able to satisfactorily complete pre-employment screening (background check and drug screen).\r\nSix (6) months previous manufacturing experience, preferably in the quality function that displays progressive work‑related skill, knowledge, or experience in a fast-paced, high‑volume manufacturing environment is required.
