Are you a passionate and skilled Orthopedic & Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist who loves getting to the root of your patients’ concerns through a holistic, whole-body approach? We are seeking a dedicated Women’s Health Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. Who are we? Salt & Light Physical Therapy and Wellness is a cash based private physical therapy practice that specializes in providing holistic treatment options and programs that are designed to serve WOMEN for their healthcare needs. We help women with bowel/bladder dysfunction, pelvic pain, orthopedic injuries, sexual dysfunction, oncology and lymphedema management on their journey to becoming whole, living integrated, and optimizing their human movement experience to live a life of abundance! Our areas of focus are: Pelvic rehabilitation Women’s healthcare Prenatal and postpartum support Oncology rehabilitation including Lymphedema management Orthopedics Wellness services Our Mission: To provide holistic women’s healthcare that is empowering, supportive, and integrated through movement. What We Do: We are a private physical therapy and integrative wellness practice that specializes in Women’s Health. We blend embodiment practice within the framework of physical therapy which allows the body to be a tool for healing through self-awareness, self-regulation, mindfulness, connection, and balance. We help women restore the alignment between the mind, body, and spirit through movement. WHAT WE ARE Looking FOR in a Clinician: Values working in a holistic Women's healthcare cash pay model Appreciates working in a calm environment Wants to spend 60 minutes with patient to provide hands on individualized care Provides trauma-informed care Has completed level 1 pelvic health course through Herman & Wallace or APTA Values collaborative care and mentorship WHAT WILL YOUR Responsibilities BE: Provide personalized, one-on-one care to patients with clear education Practices evidence based medicine Create and provide individualized holistic treatment plans to get to the root of the patients problem Build strong rapport with patients in which you are empowering, resourcing, and equipping them to progress towards their personal health and wellness goals Requirements: North Carolina Physical Therapy / Occupational Therapy license Completed Herman and Wallace or APTA Pelvic Floor level 1 Course Demonstrates a passion for providing holistic women’s healthcare Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Exhibits empathy, integrity, and positivity Demonstrates good organization skills and time management Willingness to learn and participate in mentorship Proficient orthopedic manual skills and certification in trigger point dry-needling is encouraged but not required Business Hours: Monday- Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Friday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Job Type: Full-time position Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $42.00 per hour Benefits: Continuing education credits License reimbursement Opportunities for advancement Ability to Relocate: Wilmington, NC 28403: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
