We want every one of our associates to look forward to coming to work each and every day.\nResponsibilities:\nReceive and accurately read, understand, and follow Pick Tickets for order pulling.\nLocate and pull items from inventory and load into carts or other moving equipment.\nTransport items from storage area to shipping area or pallets by using carts, moving equipment or forklifts.\nKeep accurate reports for stock counts. Mark paperwork (ticket or database) and track inventory accurately.\nUpdate and process pick ticket and move paperwork accurately through next phase of processing.\nUpdate database. Track inventory and mark items with stock codes.\nInspect items for quality and quantity and any evidence of damage and report any problems to Supervisor.\nAssist Loaders in preparing order for shipping with staging and packaging.\nContribute to team efforts by assisting with various entry level warehouse operations and dock-related tasks, shipping, moving, handling, and tracking material using proper paperwork.\nProvide hands on job-function training to fellow Associates as needed.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate efficient production functions.\nSkill Requirements:\nAbility to meet productivity standards and complete work in timely manner.\nAbility to utilize hand trucks, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within warehouse facilities.\nAbility to follow specific verbal and written instructions.\nWork overtime as required by business needs.\nPerform job tasks using specific safety tools and actions as provided in training.\nMaintain a high percentage of accuracy and attention to detail.\nEducation and/or Experience Requirements:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nForklift certification preferred but not required\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to stand on two feet, walk, twist, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods (up to 8 hours or more a day).\nMust be able to consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
