As a QA Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the integrity and reliability of our application and data. You will work closely with our developers, data engineers, and analysts to write, execute, and maintain tests and scripts focused on our analytics code and processes. Your efforts will ensure that our applications remain bug-free.\nJob Responsibilities\nTest Development & Execution: Write, execute, and maintain comprehensive tests and scripts designed to validate our application code, pipelines, and processes.\nData Validation: Develop and perform automated and manual tests to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all systems.\nProcess Monitoring: Monitor data flows and processes to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in real-time.\nTest Automation: Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to streamline the quality assurance processes.\nDocumentation: Document test cases, procedures, and results in order to maintain and communicate our quality assurance coverage and execution. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, provide feedback, and contribute to overall quality improvements.\nContinuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest QA methodologies and tools, and continuously seek to improve testing strategies and processes.\nRequired Qualifications\nBS in Engineering, Computer Science, Data/Information Science, Mathematics, or a related field\n4+ years of hands-on experience in a similar position\nProfessional Testing/Development experience involving UI and API Automation\nAbility to thrive in an Agile Scrum environment with remote teammates\nAbility to investigate, isolate, and solve technical issues across the full technology stack by using automated & manual testing methodologies\nA desire and curiosity about learning innovative technologies.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience using, testing, and debugging JavaScript, React, C#, and Python\nKnowledge of the energy industry, markets, and terminology\nExperience in a DevOps environment with CI/CD tools\nExperience working with relational data via Oracle, Postgres, and/or SQL Server\n\nCompensation: $75,000 - $105,000\nNegotiable based on qualifications and experience.
