You will play a key role in payroll system implementation and upgrades, providing leadership, training, and support to ensure successful project execution. This role will also include the onboarding of new clients, ensuring all previous data is captured, imported, and reviewed prior to the onboarding.\nJob Duties:\nManage end to end payroll processing for multi-state clients, overseeing various pay cycles.\nEnsuring the accuracy of employee data, including hours worked, bonuses, commissions, and other relevant information needed for payroll calculations.\nStaying informed about local, state, and federal payroll laws and regulations to ensure that payroll processes are following legal requirements.\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, including employee information, tax withholdings, and other relevant data.\nCollaborate with clients to ensure accurate configuration of employee benefits, child supports, and garnishments (e.g., health insurance, retirement plans, optional deductions).\nCommunicate clearly and professionally with clients and other departments in a timely manner to resolve payroll- related issues, discrepancies, or inquires.\nAcquire in-depth knowledge of clients' industry, focusing on proper customer setup for accurate invoice distribution.\nDevelop and implement payroll policies, procedures, and systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency.\nEnsure you have a strong gasp of the team's payroll's, enabling you to offer support and further training when needed.
