We also foster a culture built on high performance, collaboration, continuous improvement, and ongoing professional development.\r\nSummary:\r\nThis role will support the Dimensional Engineering projects by performing variation simulation analysis (VSA), planning, tracking and meeting project objectives.\r\nResponsibilities:\r\nSupport the dimensional engineering activities for large scale product development programs by performing variation simulation analysis (VSA) using tools like 3DCS and predict the dimensional variations in the automotive systems and sub-systems throughout the many phases of product development.\r\nBuild up to vehicle level dimensional simulation models in a rigid and compliant environment.\r\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve dimensional issues as needed.\r\nApply GD&T standards to optimize design and tolerances to meet or exceed dimensional targets, improve product quality, reduce costs, and accelerate time-to-market\r\nDocument and report findings, providing actionable insights to the product development teams.\r\nAct as a liaison between Goken global teams and point of contacts at assigned Client to identify project requirements, understand technical specifications and meet client expectations.\r\nMonitor and track the progress of projects and handle any issues that arise. Report and escalate to management as needed.\r\nSupport management with project proposals, scheduling, and quoting.\r\nTravel to client sites is required.\r\nQualifications:\r\nBachelor's degree in engineering and 6+yrs relevant experience OR master's degree in engineering and 4+yrs relevant experience.\r\nEducation with the following specialties preferred: Mechanical, Mechanical Technology, Aerospace, Automotive, Manufacturing.\r\nMinimum 4 years of experience in Dimensional Engineering or related area\r\n4+ years practical VSA experience using tools like 3DCS required. Experience with other similar 3D tolerance analysis tools will be considered.\r\nBasic understanding of Computer-Aided Design (CAD), preferably CATIA\r\nUnderstanding of automotive system/sub-system level dimensional requirements is required.\r\nGood understanding of GD&T standards is required.\r\nKnowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes is required.\r\nProject lead experience managing projects, leading and directing others is a plus\r\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\r\nProficient in MS office.\r\nGoken is committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and engaging workplace across all global locations.
