This is a highly cross‐functional role focused on solving operational challenges through automation, workflow design, and internal tooling.You will work closely with Project Managers, Operations teams, Reviewers, and Leadership to identify inefficiencies, improve visibility, and build scalable systems that increase quality and productivity across the organization. Leveraging modern AI coding agents and automation platforms, you will help transform manual processes into efficient, repeatable workflows.This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical problem‐solving with operational impact and wants hands‐on exposure to fast‐moving AI infrastructure and data operations.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, improve, and maintain internal workflows, automation systems, and operational tooling for data annotation and quality control programsDevelop scripts, integrations, and AI‐assisted solutions that reduce manual work and improve operational efficiencyBuild and maintain dashboards, reporting systems, and data management workflows that improve visibility across projectsCollaborate with Project Managers, Operations teams, Reviewers, and Leadership to identify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutionsMonitor workflow performance, troubleshoot operational issues, and resolve data inconsistenciesLeverage AI coding agents and AI‐assisted development tools to rapidly prototype, test, and deploy process improvementsCreate systems that improve reviewer productivity, quality control accuracy, project tracking, and operational reportingDocument internal tools, workflows, and best practices to support long‐term scalabilityProactively identify opportunities for automation and operational optimization instead of only executing predefined tasksSupport cross‐functional initiatives as Abaka AI continues to scale globallyQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical fieldStrong technical foundation in software development, automation, systems building, or operational toolingExperience improving business or operational processes through automation and tooling development: building projects, scripts, automations, or internal tools using Python or similar programming languagesFamiliarity with AI coding agents and AI‐assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar platformsUnderstanding of APIs, workflow automation, system integrations, and structured data management conceptsFamiliarity with databases, data modeling, and operational data workflowsExperience building or maintaining workflows using platforms such as Airtable, Retool, Zapier, n8n, Make, or similar toolsStrong analytical thinking and problem‐solving abilitiesExcellent communication and cross‐functional collaboration skillsSelf‐motivated, proactive, and comfortable operating in fast‐paced, ambiguous environmentsAbility to quickly learn new tools, systems, and operational workflowsPreferred QualificationsExperience building workflow automation systems, internal operational tools, or reporting dashboardsFamiliarity with cloud infrastructure and developer tools such as AWS, GCP, Docker, Airflow, or similar technologiesExperience supporting data annotation, AI training, data operations, or quality assurance workflowsPrevious experience as a reviewer, QA/QC specialist, trainer, or operations analystInterest in AI, machine learning, and large‐scale data infrastructureThe base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $140,000 USD annually.Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work at Abaka AI.
