Other duties may be assigned.\nDesigns, develops, qualifies and maintains ATE for high-to-low volume electronics manufacturing.\nUnder the direction of a Senior level Test Engineer, develops test software in high level languages such as LabVIEW, C++, C#, and VB.NET.\nDesigns hardware/firmware to interface unit-under-test (UUT) to the ATE.\nDevelops and documents Software Requirements documents (SRDs), Test Plans, Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs), Qualification Plans, and equipment Calibration Requirements. Conducts formal design reviews.\n\nRequirements and Qualifications\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.\nExperience with ATE Design\nStrong testing, troubleshooting and debugging skills.\nStrong communication skills and ability to articulate ideas.\nFamiliarity with hardware design and software integration\nMust demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation to accomplish technically challenging assignments.\nStrong programming skills in high level languages\nExperience with test development including documentation requirements, communication of project status and results\nStrong organizational skills.\nBachelor's degree (BSEE, BSEET, BSCS) required\nRF Knowledge a plus\n\nPhysical Demands/Work Environment\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or reach. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include depth perception. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
