As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.\n\nOperator I is responsible for the consistent operation of various machines and/or operation of support equipment related to the production process. Other duties are outlined based on specific department requirements.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nPerform machine operations and control.\nFollow machine start up and shutdown procedure.\nFollow applicable work instructions.\nFollow established company policies.\nFollow all established health and safety policies\nCommunicate with supervisors.\nKnowledge of GMP.\nWork station organization and cleanliness.\nFollow quality control inspection points.\nMachine and area cleaning.\nTrouble shooting\nReading work orders and bill of materials.\nFiling out necessary paperwork.\nFollow work instruction and product specification.\nQuality Inspection.\nEvaluate non-conformities in products, production equipment and test equipment.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nAdditional Responsibilities for Chain & Spooling Department:\n\nQuality inspection and required first piece.\nUse Nikon profile protector.\nVisual inspection of product for quality standards.\nWeighing and recording chain produced.\nMaintaining chain traceability by using temporary traveler.\nPrint labels for products and package productions as per work instructions.\n\nAdditional Responsibilities for Extrusion Department:\n\nMaintenance fill out PM and cleaning checks sheets.\nPerform 1st piece inspection and continuous inspection.\nPerform Extrusion dies change over, cleaning and adjustment.\nPerform Extrusion trouble shooting, purging and cleaning.\nSetup and calibrate adapter less tip size base on required specification program in Zumbach.\nMaterial drying and mixing procedures.\nQuality inspection and scrap reporting.\nPerform measurement verification with caliper, comparator, scale and pin gauges.\n\nQualifications:\n\nGED or High School Diploma required\nPrevious manufacturing experience\nMachine operation experience in a production environment required.\nDependability and ability to adapt to change are essential.\nAbility to perform basic math calculations and weight conversions\nAbility to read, write and speak in English.\nMust be familiar with basic measurement methods.\nMust be proficient with using small hand tools.\nAbility to cross train in other areas as assigned.\nLean manufacturing experience preferred\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\n\nMust be able to sit for at least 4 hours at a time.\nHave normal eye/hand motor coordination and the ability to grasp and hold small objects.\nPossess a normal extended reach.\nConsistently uses manual dexterity.\nHave the ability to determine color acuity.\nMust be able to travel via car or plane to designated areas.\nMust be able to transport, lift, and demonstrate materials, product and equipment weighing up to 30 lbs.\n\nTekberry Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
