Our client is seeking a Demand Planner to join their team.\n\nSalary/Hourly Rate:\n$80,000 - $85,000\n\nPosition Overview:\nThe Demand Planner will manage forecasting activities and help align customer demand with production, inventory, and revenue plans. Working closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, Customer Service, and Finance, this individual will consolidate commercial inputs, identify changes in demand, and develop reliable forecasts as part of the S&OP process.\nThis role is ideal for an analytical planner who is comfortable working independently, challenging assumptions, and presenting insights to both commercial and operational stakeholders.\n\nResponsibilities of the Demand Planner:\nDevelop and maintain demand forecasts using historical data, statistical models, market trends, and commercial input.\nConsolidate forecasts across customers, products, and business divisions to create an integrated demand plan.\nCommunicate demand plans to Supply Chain and Production to support inventory, capacity, and material planning.\nPartner with Sales, Customer Service, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance to validate assumptions and identify demand risks and opportunities.\nUse SAP and demand planning systems to maintain accurate data, analyze scenarios, and support business decisions.\nParticipate in S&OP meetings by presenting demand trends, explaining variances, and supporting consensus planning.\nTrack forecast accuracy, bias, and other KPIs; perform root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.\nPrepare demand reports and dashboards while supporting improvements to forecasting and planning processes.\nRequired Experience/Skills for the Demand Planner:\n2-5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain planning, or a related analytical position.\nExperience within cosmetics, beauty, personal care, ingredients, fragrance, flavors, or another regulated manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.\nWorking knowledge of S&OP or integrated business planning processes.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAdvanced Excel proficiency; experience with business intelligence tools is a plus.\nExperience with SAP demand planning solutions, including SAP IBP, APO, ERP demand modules, or similar systems, is highly preferred.\nAbility to communicate effectively with commercial, technical, and operational stakeholders.\nExperience supporting an international or multi-site organization is a plus.\nPreferred Experience/Skills for the Demand Planner:\nExperience within cosmetics, beauty, personal care, ingredients, fragrance, flavors, or another regulated manufacturing environment.\nEducation Requirements:\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.\nBenefits:\nMedical.\nDental.\nVision.\nPaid Time Off (PTO).\n401(k).\nJob Wrapping ID: #LI-AJ3\n\nAbout Atrium: What you do matters.
