Our reputation for quality, service, and dependability has permitted us to serve many of the world's leading aerospace & defense original equipment manufacturers.ROLE: The role will fabricate, assemble, and repair aerospace components and subassemblies in accordance with approved designs and regulatory requirements.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The Following.Fabricate and assemble sheet metal aircraft components and subassemblies per approved drawings, specifications, and procedures.Operate fabrication equipment, including shears, brakes, presses, rollers, and hand/power tools.Perform inspections on fabricated components to verify conformance to dimensional tolerances and quality standards.Repair or modify sheet metal parts in compliance with design approvals and FAA regulations.Utilize precision tools to perform structural repairs and modifications to exacting standards in accordance with provided technical data.Utilize mechanical and hand blending techniques of major structural components using high speed grinders, sanding blocks, DA sanders, and similar tools.Prepare part surfaces prior to coating/painting using mechanical stripping and/or sand applications on parts.Document all work performed in accordance with customer requirements and internal quality management procedures.Collaborate with engineers, inspectors, and production teams to troubleshoot fabrication issues.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with company and regulatory safety standards.Perform other duties, as assigned.
