The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and a keen attention to detail, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.\r\nThe salary range will be $100,000 - $120,000 DOE along with phenomenal benefits, strong PTO, and clear opportunity be an active financial leader within the organization!\r\nPlease reach out to Austen Zemrock on LinkedIn for a direct confidential conversation or email me a Word version of your resume for more information.\r\nResponsibilities\r\n\r\n\r\nManage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.\r\n\r\n\r\nAnalyze financial data to identify opportunities for resource optimization and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.\r\n\r\n\r\nMaintain and oversee the chart of accounts, ensuring proper bank reconciliations are completed regularly.\r\n\r\n\r\nSupervise accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including vendor payments, cash applications, and monitoring aged invoices and credit limits.\r\n\r\n\r\nReview manufacturing costs, overhead expenses, and general administrative expenditures, offering insights for cost management and efficiency improvements.\r\n\r\n\r\nEnsure proper recording and analysis of revenues and expenses, maintaining compliance with accounting standards.\r\n\r\n\r\nHandle provincial and federal government reporting requirements and manage tax filings.\r\n\r\n\r\nCoordinate physical inventory counts and reconciliation efforts to ensure accuracy.\r\n\r\n\r\nSafeguard sensitive company and customer information with discretion and professionalism.\r\n\r\n\r\nPerform additional tasks as assigned to support the organization's financial objectives.\r\n\r\n\r\nRequirements - Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or equivalent experience.\r\n\r\n\r\nProficiency in oral and written communication in English.\r\n\r\n\r\nStrong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and resolve issues.\r\n\r\n\r\nAdvanced technical accounting knowledge and expertise in Office 365 and Excel; experience with Epicor is a plus.\r\n\r\n\r\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\r\n\r\n\r\nExceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.\r\n\r\n\r\nAt least 5 years of relevant experience in financial management or accounting.\r\n\r\n\r\nFamiliarity with document control and scanning processes is preferred. \r\n\r\n\r\nRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
