The ideal candidate will have expertise in Maven, Node.js, Java, Python, TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), along with experience building CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, improving observability, and maintaining highly available production systems. Key Responsibilities \rDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline application builds, testing, and deployments. \rBuild, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform and cloud-native provisioning solutions. \rSupport API platforms and microservices, improving system reliability, scalability, performance, and security. \rManage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes. \rDevelop scripts and automation using Shell, Python, and other scripting tools to reduce manual operational tasks. \rMonitor application and infrastructure health using observability tools, and troubleshoot production issues through incident management and root cause analysis. \rDefine and track SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and service-level performance metrics. \rImplement backup, disaster recovery, vulnerability management, and security best practices. \rCollaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve release processes and production readiness. \rConduct code reviews, mentor engineers, document SOPs, and communicate progress and risks to stakeholders. \rRequired Qualifications \r~7+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), API platforms, and microservices. \r~7+ years of experience with Maven, Node.js, Java, Python, and TypeScript. \r~5+ years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Terraform. \r~ Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automating build and deployment processes. \r~ Experience with cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and production support. \r~ Understanding of high availability, system reliability, performance optimization, incident management, and root cause analysis. \r~ Experience with API platforms, microservices architecture, security practices, and observability. \r~ Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. \r\rPreferred Qualifications \rExperience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. \rFamiliarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps, and repository management tools. \rKnowledge of monitoring and observability platforms such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, and the Elastic Stack. \rExperience with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, PowerShell, or other infrastructure automation tools. \rFamiliarity with automated testing and code quality tools such as SonarQube, Selenium, and JUnit. \rKnowledge of security policies, vulnerability management, backup and disaster recovery, and Agile methodologies. \rExperience mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and improving DevOps processes. \r\rABOUT BRICKRED SYSTEMS \rBrickRed Systems is a global leader in next-generation technology consulting and workforce solutions, specializing in delivering high-quality talent across digital, engineering, marketing, analytics, finance, operations, and business transformation domains.
