Our Officers are responsible for providing professional customer-focused security and life safety services for the people and the property they protect.Location Boston, MA 02111Concierge servicesMaintain a professional demeanor, aiding customers, employees, visitors, and guestsMaintain a visible presence in the facility / building assignedMonitor the environment, with the ability to detect suspicious and unsafe activityResponsible for becoming familiar with incoming and outgoing traffic, know the customers, tenants, visitors, and guestsGreet customers, visitors, staff, tenants, guests in a professional manner alwaysAnswer all phones in a professional mannerPermit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exitsKnow the facility / building policies and procedures; enforce them within the limits of the positionPerform required patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicleObserve departing personnel to protect against the theft of company property and ensure authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate customer requirementsFollow established emergency action planning and proceduresMonitor alarms and systemsTest and inspect fire extinguishers and other fire protection devices to ensure compliancePerform fire drills and additional safety duties as neededMay provide fire-fighting duties during emergencies and train others in emergency response plansPrepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities, as directedThe essential duties and responsibilities may differ by customer location assignedMinimum High School Diploma, GED or the equivalentMust have reliable means of communication and transportationStrong interpersonal communication skills and neat and professional appearanceWrite routine correspondence, to include log entries and incident reportingGood organizational skills and time managementAbility to work in a fast-paced, customer service environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skillsPrevious contract security, law enforcement, military, customer service experience helpfulOpen scheduling availability highly preferred Harvard Protection Services offers a competitive hourly pay rate with health & welfare, dental, vision, sick leave, vacation, and 401K enrollment benefit opportunities.Pay Rate$24.00/Hr.Free on-site dry cleaning service for uniformsOn-site discounted parking ratesAbout Harvard Protection Services Harvard Protection Services maintains true to our long-standing belief, Employees First and Customer Service.
