As a team member of the Programming function, the Manager, Programming will be working interactively with functional colleagues from Biostatistics, Clinical Operations, Data Management and Project Management, as well as external vendors. Responsibilities:\nRepresents programming function in Study Team meetings and interacts with functional colleagues from other departments.\nStay abreast of latest techniques in SAS Programming and CDISC Standards and continually improve internal processes to gain efficiency and regulatory compliance.\nDevelop complex SAS Macros that help in reducing redundant programming and increase efficiency in projects.\nMotivate and mentor SAS Programmers to complete assigned deliverables.\nLead study/initiatives and utilize resources to meet corporate objectives.\nCreate specifications for data transformation in accordance with SDTM IG and SAP.\nCreation of CDISC compliant deliverables - SDTM & ADaM datasets, annotated CRF (aCRF), define.xml, reviewer guides (cSDRG/ADRG).\nPerforming statistical analysis, generating analytic reports, tables, figures, and slides in support of clinical study and other reports\nProfessional development to enhance knowledge, skills, communication, scientific methodology, operational efficiency, and compliance with policies, regulations, and corporate standards and processes.\nJob Requirements:\nRequires a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field of study\nMaster’s degree or higher in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field of study is a plus\nMinimum 5-7 years of work experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech (preferred) or related industry\nSolid programming background and advanced SAS programming skills required.\nPrior experience in leading studies/projects is required\nPrior experience in line management (direct reports) is a plus\nCDISC experience in SDTM/ADaM/Define.xml standards are required\nPrior submission experience is highly preferred\nOther statistical software knowledge is a plus (R, S-Plus, WinBugs, etc)\nProgramming skills or experiences with VBA, C++, Python, etc. are helpful\nMust have good communication skills (verbal and written)\nHighly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy and conciseness.\nIndividuals must demonstrate the ability to interact successfully in a dynamic and culturally diverse workplace.\nTravel Requirements:\nAbility to travel to 10%\n#LI-JT1\n\nSalary Range: $119,000 - $167,267 a year Compensation & Benefits:\nWe’re committed to investing in every team member’s total well-being, now and in the future.
