Determines type and cost of materials required for the projects, ensures specifications and drawings are accurate, and reviews projects and plans.\nInstalls, repairs, and maintains motors, transformers, generators, lights, appliances, circuits, wiring, and other electrical system equipment and components in compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.\nOperates a variety of electrical testing equipment in locating and determining types of electrical malfunctions.\nStudies plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence of repairs and/or installations.\nRepairs and maintains high voltage systems.\nTrains and supervises apprentices.\nTroubleshoots, tests, and repairs emergency generators and various electrical systems and power distribution systems to ensure that they are working properly.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\n4 – 7 years work experience as an electrician.\nElectrician apprenticeship.\nLicense as a Journeyman or Electrician preferred to meet state requirements.\nA High School Diploma is required; prefer some trade or technical school classes.\nKnowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical trade.\nKnowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations.\nKnowledge of electrical applications for high and low-voltage electric systems.\nSkill in the installation, repair, and maintenance of all types of electrical system equipment and components.\nAbility to work with a crew.\nMust be knowledgeable in all aspects of commercial construction industry-related products and tools.\nSkill in both verbal and written communication.\nJoin Us:\nToday, there are 27 different companies that make up the CoolSys family of brands.
