Aluminum Shop TechnicianThe Aluminum Shop Technician is responsible for assisting in the construction of aluminum boat hulls and related components in a boat manufacturing facility. This individual will help ensure efficient production of high-quality aluminum boats.Key responsibilities include:Assisting in the construction of aluminum boat hulls and related components according to production schedules and quality standardsEnsuring all safety protocols are followedCreating requisitions for materials and supplies needed for productionSupporting quality control inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with specificationsAssisting in implementing and maintaining efficient production processes to ensure timely delivery of productsCommunicating with other departments to coordinate production workflowsTroubleshooting any production issues that arise and implementing solutionsAssisting in work scheduling to help meet production goals.RequirementsThe ideal candidate will possess AWS Aluminum welding certification and have experience in aluminum boat construction. Strong communication skills and a solid understanding of production processes are essential. The candidate should also demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or equivalent work experience is typically required.
