Your work will support high-impact projects where you'll work closely with analysts, data scientists, and other software engineers.\nYou'll be expected to work largely independently, pursuing opportunities that present themselves from your research and following up with customer needs. This role will provide opportunities to quickly adapt and deploy new security products — your tools will be used within weeks, not years.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop Python applications to automate analysis and operational workflows.\n\nReverse engineer network traffic and web applications.\n\nWork with customers to collect requirements and ensure proper functionality.\n\nCoordinate with a team of software developers to incorporate new technologies and leverage shared libraries.\n\nManage dataflow and formatting to integrate into client systems.\n\nSkills Requirements\nProduction-grade software development experience in Python.\n\nFamiliarity with HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, and other common web traffic.\n\nExperience with Burp Suite, browser developer tools, or Wireshark to monitor network communications.\n\nService containerization and deployment with Docker/Kubernetes.\n\nFamiliarity with Git/GitLab.\n\nFamiliarity with AI-assisted code development (Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor, etc.).\n\nAtlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence).\n\nNice to Haves\nExperience prototyping web applications (JavaScript).\n\nExperience analyzing cybersecurity-related datasets (network traffic, OS events).\n\nExperience developing or reverse-engineering mobile applications and communications.\n\nCapable of designing and manipulating GitLab CI/CD automated builds.\n\nCompensation & Employment Policy\nSalary is determined by multiple factors, including location, education, experience, skills, and organizational requirements.
