This role involves close collaboration with engineers, designers, and cross-functional teams to develop design concepts, perform structural analysis, and ensure high-quality project delivery.\n\nThe ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in structural engineering principles, experience with U.S. building codes, and the ability to take ownership of project scope, schedules, and deliverables.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nPerform structural analysis and design for steel and concrete structures\nApply engineering principles for lateral design (wind and seismic) in accordance with building codes\nDevelop design concepts and collaborate with design teams to produce accurate construction documents\nConduct and review engineering calculations, ensuring quality and accuracy\nManage assigned work scope, timelines, and deliverables with strong attention to detail\nIdentify scope changes and communicate effectively with project leadership\nSupport and mentor junior engineers and designers\nContribute to improving workflows, tools, and engineering processes\nCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated design solutions\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural focus)\nProfessional Engineer (PE) License\nMinimum 4+ years of structural engineering experience\nExperience with U.S. building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC)\nProficiency with structural analysis tools, Navisworks, and Bluebeam\nExperience designing steel and concrete structures\nStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills\n\nBenefits\nPEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
