Provides eligibility determination, orientation, and assessment. Orients, interviews, and counsels customers. Recommends most appropriate training/non-training program for each customer. Provides career counseling, job development, and placement assistance to personal caseload of participants. (after 90 days we do offer a hybrid work schedule)\nEssential Job Functions:\nEffectively and accurately communicates overview of WIOA program and services.\nFollows established case management and allied program procedures for orientations.\nDemonstrates knowledge of services, labor market information, and multi-program services within the scope of duties.\nDemonstrates effective presentation and group management skills.\nEffectively facilitates workshops and/or classroom activities.\nDemonstrates knowledge of program regulations, policies and procedures for determination of program eligibility, and various labor laws as required.\nDemonstrates ability to accurately prepare, either in manual or automated format, all forms and records.\nSubmits appropriate program applications, forms, and records in a timely manner.\nDemonstrates ability to accurately interpret and communicate assessment results to the participant.\nDemonstrates knowledge and ability to prepare appropriate program service plans.\nCollaborates with Business Services Representative on work experience process.\nDevelops the service plan and service strategy for customers.\nDemonstrates ability to accurately prepare appropriate enrollment forms and documents.\nSubmits appropriate program enrollment documents and records in a timely manner.\nPrepares accurate and appropriate case notes.\nEngage customers according to the customer contact policy and maintain participant contacts in appropriate records systems.\nAccomplishes data entry and related activities correctly and within acceptable time limits.\nMaintains accurate and appropriate files and records for individual participants.\nManages and monitors distribution of support services following established policy and procedures.\nProvide ongoing counseling to participants towards their expressed goals.\nPrepares accurate and reliable budget projections for each participant.\nTakes appropriate actions with participants within program requirements (follow-up, sanctions, terminations, etc.).\nDemonstrates knowledge of various community resources and makes referrals as appropriate.\nCollaborates with other internal staff to assist participants in developing effective résumés and cover letters.\nDemonstrates ability and knowledge to refer participants to educational facilities, training programs, and for information on financial assistance.\nDemonstrates ability to create and develop appropriate marketing/resource materials and presentations to perform outreach into community about the program.\nDemonstrates ability to create or use existing, plan, and implement activities in order to reach individual program goals.\nDemonstrates ability to coordinate activities with appropriate agencies such as mandated program partners, community-based organizations, and other internal staff in order to reach individual program goals.\nContributes to the success of overall program outcomes based on applicable program reports.\nUtilize Extreme Customer Service behaviors in all interactions with internal and external customers.\nOther Job Duties: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to drive an automobile and operate computer keyboard and basic office equipment; subject to carrying, lifting, twisting and reaching to perform essential job functions. Working conditions are primarily in an office environment with occasional travel to other locations. We are a Drug Free Work Environment.\nEducation: Bachelors' degree in human services, business, education, or related field from an accredited four-year college or university and/or Transferable skills.\nRequired Competencies:\nAbility to respond to common inquiries or complaints from participants, regulatory agencies, or members of the community agencies and business community.\nAbility to effectively present ideas verbally and give detailed briefings and training classes to staff, management, public groups, and customers.\nAbility to write effectively using correct English preparing memos, letters, reports, and customer case notes.\nAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.\nAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.\nAbility to interpret an extensive variety of labor market and other allied information to facilitate the career development and case management process\nStrong organizational skills\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nComputer proficiency\nAbility to speak Spanish.\nAdditional Requirements: Must have valid driver's license and adequate vehicle insurance coverage.\nDiversity is at the heart of our business.
