ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Behavioral Health Technician at Simply You Wellness will play a crucial role in administering advanced, non-invasive, non-drug treatments for patients experiencing conditions such as Major Depressive Disorder, Anxious Depression, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. You will be trained on sight by the leading company in the country. You will work in a high-energy, fast-paced medical office environment. The ideal candidate must possess a friendly, outgoing attitude and a passion for delivering excellent patient-facing care.
Core responsibilities include preparing and setting up the equipment for treatments, accurately documenting patient progress, and effectively communicating with patients throughout their treatment course. Maintaining a supportive and welcoming environment is essential, as we strive to create a positive experience for all our patients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administer advanced, non-invasive therapies according to physician orders, ensuring proper setup and execution of daily treatments.
Conduct thorough documentation during the procedure to individualize patient care and ensure treatments are accurately delivered.
Offer a supportive and compassionate environment, engaging with patients to provide encouragement and guidance throughout their treatment journey.
Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and team members to coordinate care, ensuring seamless patient experiences from start to finish.
Assist with daily administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, tracking insurance authorizations, and maintaining patient records.
Educate patients about their treatment process, potential benefits, and possible side effects, answering questions and providing a high level of patient support.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes, ensuring a cohesive and integrated approach to wellness care.
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least one year of experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients.
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a high level of organization.
Passionate about providing excellent patient care, with an empathetic and compassionate approach.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Comfortable with technology and able to learn the operation of advanced therapeutic equipment and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Relevant training and certification will be provided during the initial period of employment, making this a great opportunity for candidates with a background in healthcare or wellness who are eager to expand their skill set.

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
