You’ll ensure the team has direction and understanding of the product they are working with and help problem solve as needed.\nTHE WHEN AND WHERE\nYour regular schedule will be full-time at 40 hours each week – Monday through Friday – in our clean, vibrant factory space in Williston, Vermont. Overtime and some weekend hours may be required during our peak seasons.\nYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AND CONTRIBUTIONS\nDirects and motivates teams to accurately meet or exceed daily packaging goals while creating positive and respectful relationships.\nEnsures the Quality and Standards for the product are consistently achieved, using the specification book and visual samples.\nMaintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment (shrink machine, feeder, 5-Star machine, etc.)\nReports any process and equipment problems promptly to the maintenance technician and/or management.\nTrains and works with packagers to see that the proper product is being packaged.\nCommunicate new lines and changes as they occur.\nEnsures that established policies, rules, regulations, and procedures are followed.\nResponsible for housekeeping of the area and meeting packaging quality and quantity standards on the shift, GMP & Safety.\nMaintains basic knowledge of computer software & equipment used in the department (Easy Label, Shopclock, & Printers).\nContributes to a team effort by performing according to the guidelines outlined in the Employee Handbook, the GMP, and other directives, supporting directives and decisions of higher-level management, and accomplishing other duties as assigned.\nMaintains knowledge of current products and packaging requirements.\nProvides relevant information to the packaging supervisor, communicates any issues to other team leaders and management to ensure smooth operations. Communicates with night team leader to ensure a smooth transition between shifts.\nAssists other departments, as needed.
