This role is also responsible for building and sustaining structured maintenance systems aligned with process safety and operational excellence.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupervise and coordinate daily work of mechanical & E&I trades\nManage and prioritize work orders across, three manufacturing areas, administrative and laboratory buildings\nEnsure safe, timely execution of preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance\nDevelop, implement, and maintain: CMMS / work order management system, a spare parts inventory program, a comprehensive site maintenance program\nDrive improvements in uptime, reliability, and maintenance efficiency\nEstablish standard job plans, procedures, and maintenance workflows\nLead & own capital projects ranging to $1MM – multi site responsibilities\nExecute projects using: Internal plant resources, third-party contractors when required\nManage full project lifecycle: scoping, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and closeout\nEnsure all projects meet Safety, quality, and compliance standards\nEnsure all maintenance and project work complies with applicable codes and standards, including ASME (Section VIII, B31.3), API (510, 570, 653), NFPA (70, 70E, 30), AWS, and OSHA requirements\nMaintain and support Mechanical Integrity (MI) programs for critical process equipment\nSupport regulatory audits and inspections while promoting a strong process safety culture\nDevelop and sustain a maintenance strategy aligned with process safety and reliability goals, including MI, PM, AM, and Predictive Maintenance.\nImplement reliability practices such as RCM, RCA, FMEA, and asset criticality to improve performance and reduce risk.\nEstablish effective planning and scheduling, backlog management, and standardized job plans\nDrive CMMS utilization, spare parts optimization, and key maintenance KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, planned vs. unplanned work)\nSupport equipment care initiatives (lubrication, inspections) and continuous improvement efforts\nTrain and mentor team members to ensure consistent execution\nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering\nMinimum 10 years of maintenance or engineering experience in a manufacturing or chemical plant environment\nProven supervisory experience with skilled trades\nTravel – 15% to support capital project work at remote sites\nExperience managing capital projects\nStrong working knowledge of applicable industrial codes and standards\nBilingual (Fluent in English and Spanish required)\nAuthorized to work in the United States for any employer\nPreffered\nExperience building maintenance systems from the ground up\nFamiliarity with CMMS platforms and reliability programs\nBackground in chemical, petrochemical, or similar process industries\nExperience with both liquid
