Surgery - Cardiovascular Physician

Coverage Needed: June 10, 2026 - June 15, 2026Night Call 5p-8a and 24 Hour Call 8a-8a5p Friday - 8a Monday Clinical Details: EMR/Charting: Cerner Types of Calls: Telephone; 30-minute response required. Support Staff: APPs available for office, non-urgent calls, and OR support. On Call, with average admissions of 1 while on call. Typical Cases: Emergency cases, ECMO, Tamponade. Procedures: Aortic Valve Replacements, CABG, TAVR, Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Heart Valve Surgery, MitraClip, PFO Closure. Operating Rooms: 2 rooms dedicated to cardiac surgery per day. Call can be taken offsite from hotel. APPs take first call for all but ICU, ED, and transfers. Requirements: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiac Surgery Minimum 3 years of experience DEA ACLS, BLS, CPR State Licensure: Pennsylvania (candidates needing to obtain a license are accepted)
