Nearly 35 years ago, we brought the business to the US and the business has grown to 6 offices producing our leading products all across the US.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nUnderstands and adheres to the requirements of the Business Management System and perform duties in a manner that supports the company’s Mission Statement.\n\nCompletes the list of competencies listed in the “Job Competency Check Sheet” for this position within the timeframe specified by the Quality Manager.\n\nPerforms inspection and tests precisely as described in the applicable procedures and work instructions. This includes proper and safe sample collection and their preparation.\n\nDemonstrates proper use and maintenance of lab instruments and test equipment including the verification their calibration status prior to use.\n\nAccurately enters test results per current ISO 9001 and company standards.\n\nUnderstands and interprets test and inspection results and communicate issues to management in a timely manner.\n\nMaintains a safe working environment, following all safety rules and procedures including Job Hazard/PPE assessment, report any unsafe conditions, incidents or near-misses.\n\nPerforms inventory cycle counts as needed.\n\nDetail-oriented to ensure reliable and precise test results and accurate record keeping.\n\nUnderstands and follows good laboratory practices; work in a safe manner, understand the location, purpose and use of Safety Data Sheets (SDS).\n\nDemonstrates real world Root Cause Analysis (RCA) in addressing day to day challenges.\n\nMeets daily expectations regarding assigned tasks as well as managing multiple activities.\n\nPartners with other departments to achieve plant goals.\n\nEffectively plan and organize work to achieve efficient and effective results.\n\nPerforms other duties as required.\n\nQualifications:\n\nRequired:\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED required\n\nEntry level computer skills in Microsoft Office 365 Suite.\n\nMust be able to work in a laboratory environment.\n\nAbility to work shifts.\n\nVisual Acuity (including color perception).\n\nGood Hearing.\n\nPreferred:\n\nAssociate's degree , Engineering, Applied or Physical Science is preferred.\n\nAt least 1 year of relevant work experience.\n\nPrevious experience in a production environment desired\n\nWork Environment:\n\nWill be located at either the Winter Haven, FL facility.\n\nMust be able to work in a laboratory environment.\n\nModerate dust, noise, hot and cold climates intermittently.\n\nLifting to 50 pounds.\n\nAbility to work shift work.\n\nVisual Acuity (including color perception).\n\nGood Hearing\n\nBenefits: In addition to very competitive pay, our benefits are unmatched in our industry and include features that are not available at other local employers.
