This role ensures technical requirements are met, timelines are achieved, and cross-functional collaboration drives successful program execution. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in aerospace manufacturing, excellent project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across engineering, operations, and customer teams.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and manage engineering projects from design and development through qualification and production release.\nServe as the primary technical contact for internal teams and external customers.\nDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.\nCoordinate cross-functional efforts among design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams.\nPrepare and review engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and process instructions.\nEnsure project deliverables comply with customer, regulatory, and company standards (AS9100, NADCAP, etc.).\nManage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and product lifecycle documentation.\nProvide technical support during production ramp-up and problem-solving activities.\nReport project status, milestones, and technical issues to management and stakeholders.\n\nQualifications\nEducation & Experience:\nBachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field required.\n37 years of experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing.\nProven experience managing technical projects from inception through completion.\nTechnical Skills:\nProficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, or NX preferred).\nFamiliarity with aerospace standards and specifications (AS9100, GD&T, etc.).\nUnderstanding of manufacturing processes (machining, assembly, composites, or metal forming).\nExperience with project management tools (Asana, MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent).\nSoft Skills:\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication abilities.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nCollaborative team player with leadership capabilities.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nPMP certification or formal project management training.\nExperience with ERP/MRP systems.\nKnowledge of FAA, DoD, or customer-specific aerospace requirements.\n\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods while performing office and production floor duties.\nMust be able to occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds.\nFrequent use of hands, fingers, and arms to operate computers, office equipment, and inspection tools.\nAbility to visually inspect parts, drawings, and documents with close attention to detail.\nMust be able to work in both office and manufacturing environments, which may include exposure to moderate noise, machining equipment, and airborne particles.\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.\n\nEqual Employment Opportunity Statement\nPrecision Aerospace, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
