We provide a corporate culture that values teamwork, a strong work ethic, service to others, and personal balance.\nSUMMARY: The Night Auditor is responsible for nightly balancing hotel charges and expenses for the hotel operation, as well as showing sensitivity and respond to all guests needs safely and promptly to ensure complete satisfaction.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nGreets guests and checks them into hotel following established procedures including but not limited to assuring all necessary information is received and entered into computer\nProvides superior service to our customers (internal and external) at all times and follow the companys etiquette guidelines as mandated in the employee handbook\nAudits and balances room revenue, food and beverage revenue, cashier reports, guest and house accounts, telephone revenue and online reservations\nCompletes and transmits daily management/accounting reports and support documentation; transmittal of credit card batches\nActs as hotel system/operation and emergency liaison during night hours and perform all guest service functions\nRuns various computer reports at the beginning and end of each shift\nTakes payments, post charges, enter amounts into computer, and balance accounts at the end of each shift\nAnswers a variety of questions from guests, and handle routine problems - referring more unusual or difficult problems or complaints to supervisor or other appropriate staff members\nMaintains knowledge of daily activities in and around the hotel/ resort area\nHandles emergencies that arise when on duty alone, notifying appropriate personnel\nAssists in general maintenance and inventory of Front Office equipment and supplies\nPerforms other related duties as assigned by management\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nCommitment to excellence and high standards\nBasic typing skills with computer data entry experience\nBasic reading, spelling, and math skills\nAbility to converse clearly and comfortably with many different types of people\nAbility to deal courteously and efficiently with customers and other personnel\nAbility to learn a variety of information about the companys lodging and recreational facilities, as well as general information about the area\nExcellent customer service skills\nAbility to understand and follow written and verbal instructions\nProfessional appearance and demeanor\nBilingual skills a plus\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) or related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience\nRequires a minimum of one year of hotel audit experience\nCOMPETENCIES:\nQuality-Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality.\nQuantity-Meets productivity standards; Completes work in timely manner; Strives to increase productivity; Works quickly.\nSafety and Security-Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.\nAttendance/Punctuality-Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; Arrives at meetings and appointments on time.\nDependability-Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions;
