Knowledge of GitLab would also be beneficial. The developer will be responsible for understanding the current process, gathering requirements, investigating potential solutions, analyzing impact, communicating with stakeholders, and implementing solutions. This role provides challenging opportunities and ample room for critical thinking in building extensible solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients while scaling out to support the daily collaboration of the entire organization. Ideal candidate is a full stack developer. Preferably with experience with Python and/or Java. Atlassian experience is nice, but not required. More emphasis on troubleshooting, scripting, and automation is strongly preferred.\nThe position will be based out of Atlanta, Georgia. Local candidates are preferred, but fully remote is available.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nCollaborate with customers, Business Analysts, developers, admins and cross-functional teams to collect\nrequirements and develop solutions to support the daily needs of a rapidly growing business.\nResearch, test, and implement plugins and scripts for Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.\nDevelop interfaces between external tooling and Jira/Confluence infrastructure.\nManage Jira workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes.\nDocument requirements, solutions, as well as user and support reference guides.\nDevelop specifications and test plans associated with new features or modifications.\nProvide communications link between users and technical groups.\nProvide ongoing user support including troubleshooting and resolution of issues.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nMinimum Requirements:\nProgramming experience with a willingness to learn.\nKnowledge and understanding of the software development cycle.\nExcellent problem solving skills and demonstration of critical thinking.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nBasic query language experience (SQL or equivalent, JQL a bonus).\nKnowledge of Single Sign On protocols such as SAML, SAML2.\nFamiliarity with Git and branching models or other source control repositories.\nBachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience\nSix to eight years of job related experience\nPreferred Skills:\nJava, Groovy, Python, Javascript, and Bash scripting strongly preferred. HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a plus.\nExperience in setting up and supporting Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket etc.).
