This is a full-time, non-exempt position. This position will require a broad range of responsibilities to ensure success. Some examples of these responsibilities are listed below (but are not limited to the following):\n\nOversee the day-to-day operations of the machine shop and provide technical assistance to machinists when needed.\nDrive out waste throughout the manufacturing operation through the deployment of the Lean methodology.\nMaintain and promote a safe work environment, ensuring team members follow safety protocols and procedures.\nDrive a continuous improvement culture by involving team members in problem solving and decision making as well as recognizing them for exceptional work.\nImplement and manage departmental goals to assist in reaching company goals.\nServe as liaison between department and management.\nEnsure area housekeeping is up to expectations.\nMaintain time and production records.\nAttend and participate in production meetings.\nCommunicate pertinent and relevant production issues to other supervision and management.\nSchedule overtime according to production and business needs.\n\nSystems Used\n\n• Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, PPT, Excel)\n\n• SyteLine\n\n• UKG\n\nRequirements\n\n· Demonstrated knowledge of machining and machine shop operations\n\n· Mastercam experience\n\n· CNC manufacturing experience\n\n· Proven ability to program at the machine utilizing G&M Code Programing\n\n· Prior supervisory experience\n\n· Strong communication and interpersonal skills\n\n· Ability to foster and maintain positive working relationships.\n\nCompensation\n\nThis position is full-time, non-exempt. Compensation typically follows industry median for Northeast Ohio/the Great Lakes region. You may be eligible for an annual bonus.
