Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, a fast learner, calm under pressure, enthusiastic, and a people person.\n\nThe successful candidate will help us expand our marketing team and grow LimnoTech by working closely with our Marketing Manager and Senior Marketing and Proposal Specialist. The candidate will add value to our business development efforts by leading and developing proposals in collaboration with technical team members to secure new work for LimnoTech and enable us to serve our clients.\n\nThis is a 40-hour-per-week position. The candidate will be fully in-person for an introductory 90-day period. Following the introductory period, a hybrid schedule request in accordance with LimnoTech’s guidelines can be submitted for consideration.\n\nResponsibilities\nHelp develop, maintain, and champion LimnoTech’s proposal workflow procedures and processes, and implement from beginning to end (go/no-go and initiation to submittal/interview)\nDrive and coordinate the proposal development process\nReview RFIs/RFPs/RFQs for proposal production/documentation guidelines and work with the proposal lead/manager to develop production schedules\nSchedule meetings and track the completion of staff and subcontractor assignments\nFacilitate communications between project staff and other staff regarding proposal development\nCoordinate with subcontractors (or prime) on schedules and materials\nPrepare agendas and lead kickoff and check-in meetings with proposal teams\nCo-lead (with technical team members) the completion and submittal of high-quality proposals within strict deadlines\nCollaborate with proposal team to gather required information for proposals\nFill out and review proposal forms and ensure completeness and accuracy\nFormat and lay out proposal content using standard templates\nLead proofreading and final editing and layout of proposals\nEnsure all proposal requirements are met\nPackage proposals to ensure a professional look and effective messaging\nManage the final production and submission of all proposals in accordance with requirements and strict deadlines\nMaintain and improve internal marketing and proposal materials\nMaintain proposal templates and help build material/content libraries\nTrack and manage electronic proposal files and archives\nCompile materials for proposals and work with staff to complete updates (resumes, biosketches, project profiles, headshots, logos, firm overviews, other boilerplate content)\nSupport management of accounts to help screen for and capture RFP opportunities and proposal submissions\nOther marketing and business development support as needed\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Business, Environmental Science, or a related technical discipline (degrees in other specialties are acceptable if relevance and experience can be demonstrated).\n2-4 years of relevant experience.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nExceptional organizational skills and time management (ability to prioritize tasks)\nAn eye for detail, not accepting average or okay, and taking personal pride and responsibility for all aspects within your control. Attention to detail is a critical skill for this role.\nAdvanced proficiency and skills in MS Word, MS Teams, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.\nProficiency or familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud Apps (InDesign, Photoshop) is a plus.\nFamiliarity with AI platforms and tools (i.e., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) and AI-enabled proposal development workflows.\nGood at building strong relationships.\nWorks positively under pressure and delivers quality products while meeting tight deadlines.\nAn experienced and efficient multitasker.\nInterest and/or experience with business development is a plus.\nMust be legally able to work in the U.S. for any employer (proper documentation is required).\n\nCompensation\n\nLimnoTech rewards high achievement within a supportive working community.
