The Process Engineer will play a key role in the development and troubleshooting of processes, products, and equipment.\n\nWhat are we looking for: Process Engineer - Phoenix, AZ\n\nUnderstand and oversee existing processes and workflows.\n\nMonitor processes’ performance for deviations or inconsistencies.\n\nDocument process status and changes as well as develop new processes.\n\nTroubleshoot problems associated with any manufacturing process.\n\nImprove productivity and/or product yield by designing, implementing, and testing new procedures.\n\nWork with vendors to assure Quantic TPC is supplied with the best products and components available.\n\nEvaluate new batches of critical raw materials for acceptability.\n\nLead and assist in equipment set‑ups and diagnosing equipment malfunctions.\n\nMix and monitor process chemicals and baths.\n\nEnsure quality standards are being upheld.\n\nPerform product failure analyses and risk assessments.\n\nCollaborate with engineering team, operations manager, maintenance, and production employees as needed.\n\nEnsure compliance with ISO/AS standards and OSHA Regulations.\n\nExecute critical quality inspections and other critical operations as required.\n\nCriteria for Success:\n\nBS degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Engineering or Science is preferred.\n\n3‑5 years of related Engineering experience\n\n1‑3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.\n\nMust possess a collaborative team‑oriented mindset and personality with a hands‑on can‑do attitude.\n\nMust be able to develop, organize and communicate clear objectives and metrics.\n\nMust be able to design experiments and interpret their results.\n\nMust be able to communicate process updates, issues, etc. effectively with operators and other team members.\n\nProactive and enterprising thinker able to multitask and prioritize projects as needed to ensure quality work within project timelines.\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint\n\nGeneral knowledge of manufacturing preferred.\n\nMust be knowledgeable of Environmental, Health & Safety protocols and compliance.\n\nMust be a US Person due to DDTC and Government Contract flow down requirements.\n\nWork Environment and Physical Demands:\n\nGeneral office and manufacturing environment.\n\nExposure to hazards associated with manufacturing equipment and tools.\n\nThis position requires working near electrical and mechanical equipment that could potentially interfere with pacemaker function.\n\nAbility to read and write in English.\n\nAbility to use computer and sit at a desk.\n\nAbility to lift, push, and pull up to 50 (fifty) pounds.\n\nWalking to various stations or areas of the production floor.\n\nVisual acuity for reading measurements, assembly instructions, and monitoring equipment.\n\nHearing ability to detect alarms, machinery sounds, or verbal instructions in a noisy environment.\n\nWill be required to wear appropriate PPE as outlined by company safety protocols.\n\nEEO/AA\nQuantic is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
