The Generalist named us among the Future 50.\nSummary\nWe’re looking for a Technical Product Marketer to make the value of Dust undeniable through product storytelling.\nYour job is to show, not tell, the value of Dust through demo videos, product walkthroughs, and high-quality assets that work across the funnel, from awareness to activation. You’ll turn complex, powerful product capabilities into clear, compelling narratives that make Dust’s value immediately tangible to prospects and users.\nYou bring technical curiosity, narrative judgment, hands-on product fluency, and excellent taste. You can move fluidly across formats, whether that puts you in front of the camera or behind the edit. And you understand that the best demo isn’t a feature tou, it’s a story that makes the value click.\nWhat you'll do\nShape how the product is understood\nTurn complex product capabilities into clear narratives that resonate with technical and non-technical audiences.\nPartner closely with Engineering and Design to stay ahead of the roadmap and identify the strongest stories behind new capabilities.\nDefine how features, workflows, and use cases should be demoed across launches, campaigns, and sales.\nOwn the demo environment, keeping it current, polished, and ready for any audience or context.\nOwn demo and product content production\nBuild and maintain a high-quality library of demo videos across use cases, personas, and stages of the customer journey.\nProduce product walkthroughs, explainer, launch videos, and short-form assets that show Dust in action.\nTake assets from initial concept through scripting, production, and final delivery.\nSet and maintain a high creative bar: every asset should make the product’s value immediately clear and uphold Dust’s brand.\nScale launches, growth, and activation\nProactively produce assets for feature launches so that strong product storytelling is built into the launch process from the start.\nProduce scalable content that can be reused across channels and customer touch points.\nCreate reusable templates, systems, and production workflows that help the marketing team move faster without sacrificing quality.\nPartner cross-functionally to adapt core product stories for different audiences and needs.\nRequirements\nMust-have\n4–6 years of experience product marketing, solutions engineering, or a related role with a strong portfolio of demo videos and product assets\nAbility to independently produce high-quality demo and explainer videos without relying on dedicated production resources\nStrong product intuition: you can quickly learn a complex product, identify what matters, and find the right angle that makes it land\nExcellent storytelling skills and a clear understanding of the difference between showing features and telling a compelling product story\nProficiency with screen recording, video editing, and design tools such as Screen Studio, After Effects, Jitter, Figma, or equivalent; motion graphics experience is a plus\nDeep fluency with AI tools: you use them actively and can demonstrate an AI product with credibility because they are already part of how you work\nNice-to-have\nExperience at a product-led growth or developer tools company where the product itself is central to the marketing\nBackground in engineering, product, or design\nFamiliarity with building demo environments or sandbox accounts for sales/marketing use\nCompensation and Benefits\nCompetitive compensation based on experience\nSignificant equity package in a Sequoia-backed startup\nHealth insurance for you and your dependents\nNew MacBook Pro or Linux machine, monitor, keyboard, etc.\nThe opportunity to travel to Paris multiple times a year\nRegular team events and off-sites\nLocation\nWe're prioritizing building our team with an in-person culture at our offices in Paris, San Francisco, and New York because we value the magic that happens when talented people work closely together.\nWe have an office-first culture.
