This role will analyze, support, test, verify, implement, and document business applications that support the district's instructional, operational, and informational needs.\nThe ideal candidate will have experience supporting K-12 ERP and/or Student Information Systems (SIS) and be comfortable working at the intersection of business processes, technology, data, and end users.\nThis is a 3-month contract-to-hire opportunity with potential for permanent employment. The position offers a hybrid/remote work arrangement; however, candidates must live within the DFW area and should be available for occasional onsite meetings and districtwide travel.\nKey Responsibilities\nAnalyze, support, implement, and maintain assigned enterprise applications and business systems.\nWork closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, identify underlying needs, and recommend effective technology solutions.\nConduct business process analysis, functional gap analysis, and workflow assessments.\nCoordinate application implementations, upgrades, projects, and system enhancements.\nDevelop and maintain project work plans, specifications, meeting documentation, and implementation plans.\nManage application issues and coordinate troubleshooting efforts with internal technical teams, developers, vendors, and business stakeholders.\nPerform user acceptance testing (UAT), data migration testing, data conversion testing, and regression testing.\nTest application patches, upgrades, new releases, integrations, and reports prior to production deployment.\nDevelop queries and reports using SQL, SSRS, Crystal Reports, or similar reporting platforms.\nPerform data mapping, data integration, data conversion, and data cleanup activities.\nSupport application security, workflow, and user-level administration.\nProvide post-production support for assigned applications and modules.\nDocument system functionality, business processes, procedures, technical requirements, and troubleshooting information.\nDevelop and deliver end-user training for applicable systems and modules.\nPartner with vendors and developers to troubleshoot application issues and optimize system performance.\nCommunicate project status, issues, risks, milestones, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.\nRequired Qualifications\n3+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or IT Analyst, preferably supporting K-12 ERP/SIS applications.\nExperience working with K-12 enterprise applications, ERP platforms, and/or Student Information Systems (SIS).\nStrong business process and systems analysis experience.\nExperience with system integrations, data mapping, data conversions, and data cleanup.\nExperience with application testing, UAT, upgrades, patches, and production implementations.\nKnowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.\nExperience with databases and database management tools.\nExperience creating complex reports and queries using SSRS, Crystal Reports, SQL, or similar tools.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and changing requirements effectively.\nStrong customer service orientation and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nMust pass a criminal background Fingerprint check upon hire.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.\nK-12 school district experience.\nITIL v4 certification.\nPMP certification.\nMicrosoft technology certifications.\nApplication development or scripting experience.\nExperience with enterprise application security and workflow administration.\nGTS Technology Solutions, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
