The company is committed to operational excellence and strong partnerships with hotel brands and owners.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role based in Houston, TX. The Sales Manager will identify, develop, and maintain relationships with corporate, group, and leisure accounts to drive room and event revenue for the property. Daily responsibilities include prospecting new business, responding to inquiries, preparing proposals and contracts, and conducting site visits and client meetings. The role also involves collaborating closely with operations, revenue management, and marketing to optimize pricing, promotions, and guest experiences. The Sales Manager will monitor market trends and competitor activity, maintain accurate records in the sales CRM, and prepare regular sales forecasts and performance reports for leadership.QualificationsProven experience in hotel or hospitality sales, including account management and new business development.Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills with corporate, group, and travel-industry partners.Ability to analyze market data, demand patterns, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.Proficient in using CRM systems, hotel sales tools, and common office software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare proposals and deliver presentations.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Knowledge of hospitality revenue management concepts, group pricing, and distribution channels is highly beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.Ability to work on-site in Houston, TX, including occasional evenings or weekends for client events and site visits.Customer-focused mindset and commitment to delivering high levels of guest and client satisfaction.
