This position is ideal for a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and has a strong background in Fire/Life Safety systems, project coordination, team development, and maintaining high-quality workmanship.\nThe Foreman is responsible for managing field personnel, coordinating with General Contractors and other trades, maintaining schedules, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects that meet customer expectations and applicable codes.\nPosition Duties and Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:\nExperience and Qualifications\n5+ years' experience in commercial fire alarm and low voltage installation\nMinimum 2 years' experience as a Foreman or Lead Technician\nExperience with jobsite document control and reporting\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nExperience on at least two large-scale commercial projects exceeding $1 million in contract value\nState Licensed Installer for Fire Life Safety (Blue Card) or NICET Level II Fire Alarm certification preferred\nProficient in material management and forecasting jobsite needs\nStrong schedule awareness and task planning abilities\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and submittals\nTechnical Knowledge\nInstallation of conventional and addressable fire alarm systems\nPanel programming and troubleshooting\nReading plans, risers, and device layouts\nWorking knowledge of NFPA 72 and applicable local codes\nUnderstanding testing, inspection, and acceptance procedures\nKnowledge of device types, circuits, power requirements, and supervision requirements\nMaintain as-built drawings and project documentation\nSafety Responsibilities\nEnforce OSHA safety requirements and company safety policies\nConduct toolbox talks and safety meetings\nEnsure proper PPE and safe work practices are followed\nIdentify hazards and implement corrective actions before work begins\nProject Coordination\nCoordinate work with electrical, HVAC, elevator, low voltage, and General Contractor teams\nResolve conflicts involving rough-in, ceiling space, access issues, and scheduling\nAttend project coordination meetings\nCommunicate with inspectors, AHJs, customers, and project teams\nLeadership Responsibilities\nLead installers and apprentices in the field\nDelegate work based on skill level and project priorities\nTrain and mentor technicians\nHold team members accountable while maintaining positive morale\nMotivate crews and maintain production schedules\nPromote professionalism, teamwork, and quality workmanship\nPhysical and Environmental Demands\nSitting – Frequently (3-6 hours daily)\nWalking – Frequently (3-6 hours daily)\nStanding – Constantly (6-8 hours daily)\nStanding on Ladder – Frequently (3-6 hours daily)\nBending (Neck and Waist) – Constantly (6-8 hours daily)\nSquatting – Frequently (3-6 hours daily)\nClimbing – Frequently (3-6 hours daily)\nKneeling – Frequently (3-6 hours daily)\nCrawling – Occasionally (0-3 hours daily)\nTwisting (Neck and Waist) – Occasionally (0-3 hours daily)\nGrasping – Constantly (6-8 hours daily)\nLifting 0-70 lbs – Frequently (3-6 hours daily)\nCarrying 0-70 lbs – Frequently (3-6 hours daily)\nBenefits Include\nEmployee benefit plans include Medical, Dental, Vision, and Supplemental Life insurance plans.
