{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"beed8f7a7b3522dac1bd8eb0","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/beed8f7a7b3522dac1bd8eb0","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/beed8f7a7b3522dac1bd8eb0","title":"Mendix Senior Developer","description":"Job Role: Mendix Developer\nLocation: Remote\nThe work you’ll do as a contractor under a project team includes building out front-end Mendix application layer for a GenAI applicatiaon, as well as using REST APIs, STK Java APIs to integrate with required data sources\nKey Responsibilities as a Contractor: (day to day of the role)\n· Actively participate in Agile ceremonies: Daily scrum meetings (9:00a PT), Sprint Planning, Retrospectives and Backlog Grooming (Wednesdays 9:00a PT – 11:00a PT).\n· Work collaboratively with team (Project Manager, Data Engineer, Subject Matter Advisors) and Client team (GenAI solution architiect, Mendix Solution Architect), to develop Mendix UI and Data Integrations, leveraging existing GenAI solution architecture & modules.\n· Proactively communicate blockers/issues/risks to team leadership and suggest alternatives or mitigations.\n· Lead the design and development of Mendix applications to meet business requirements.\n· Oversee the implementation of Mendix Security to ensure data protection and compliance.\n· Provide expertise in Mendix REST API to facilitate seamless integrations with external systems; leverage STK Java APIs if REST APIs do not meet business requirements.\n· Develop and optimize Mendix Microflows to enhance application performance and functionality.\n· Manage Mendix Integrations to ensure smooth, timely data exchange between systems.\n· Utilize Mendix Extensibility to customize and extend application capabilities.\n· Define and manage Mendix Entities to ensure accurate data modeling and storage.\n· Implement and maintain Mendix Add-Ons to enhance application features and user experience.\n· Collaborate with project team & Client stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.\n· Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.\n· Ensure the delivery of high-quality applications that meet user needs and business objectives.\n· Conduct regular code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards; document all work thoroughly and complete knowledge transfers at end of project.\n· Stay up to date with the latest Mendix features and industry trends to continuously improve application development.\nQualifications: (necessities for background experience)\nRequired:\n· Experienced Mendix Developer with 5-7 years experience;\n· The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Mendix Modeler, Mendix Security, Mendix REST API, Mendix Microflow, Mendix Integrations, Mendix Extensibility, Mendix Entities and Mendix Add-Ons. Experience in Manufacturing, Engineering or Aerospace/Defense is a plus.
