Founded in 2020, O+O Events is the events and private dining arm of the O+O Hospitality Group. Our vision is to service events with a restaurant touch, offering uniquely crafted food and beverage menus for each clients needs while providing unparalleled hospitality throughout.
Reflecting the ethos of our flagship restaurant, Olive + Oak, our menus emphasize freshness and seasonality and use the best of local and imported ingredients we can find. While O+O Events is its own standalone operation within the O+O Hospitality Group, were in active collaboration with our sister restaurants whose resources and culinary minds only make us stronger.
We are seeking one full-time cook. Members of the culinary team at O+O Events will be involved in all levels of production, from prep to plating. As such, we are seeking candidates with solid experience on a variety of stations in the kitchen, e.g., prep, pantry, fry, grill, and saut. Given the nature of the events world, applicants should be accustomed to menus that change regularly.
A typical day for a member of the Culinary Team will include:
Arrive on time to complete necessary prep tasks
Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to prepare for successful event execution
Operate with the highest standards of safety and culinary quality
Communicate any needs to Kitchen Management and Event Management
Maintain tidiness and organization of kitchen spaces
Pay for this position will be in the range of $16.00 to $19.00 hourly based on relevant professional experience. Other benefits for this position include:
