The Commercial Installer also dismantles and reconstructs equipment when necessary.\nHow you will do it\nInstalls appropriate devices; dismantles and reconstructs equipment as required by customer or Tyco Integrated Security.\nWorks safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, loss of unused materials and cleans up installation debris.\nContacts customers prior to the date of scheduled installation to verify schedule.\nPrepares estimates in accordance with prescribed instructions or directions of supervisor.\nFollow proper schematic wiring diagrams and hook-up procedures.\nTests operation of system to the signal-receiving center to properly establish service.\nReads building, electrical and sprinkler blueprints as required.\nCoordinates installations with police/fire departments and handles necessary records for notification of emergency calls.\nMay manage installation teams on larger projects.\nCoach and mentor less experienced installers.\nWhat we look for\nRequired\nAble to obtain and obtain and retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes.\nSome technical school training is a plus.\n3-5 years of electrical and electronic equipment experience with demonstrated mechanical aptitude.\nExperience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs schematics and operational/product manuals.\nAbility to operate hand and power tools.\nAbility to operate fleet vehicle in a safe manner at all times.\nAbility to communicate and provide excellent customer service.\nThis is a Bargaining Unit Position.\nPay Range: $28-$33 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided\nthrough a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement. The posted salary\nrange reflects the target compensation for this role.
