The Cognitive Trainer will serve as a primary resource to students and families to provide information pertaining to development, programs, and potential outcomes.\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:\nDeliver one-on-one fast paced, research-based training to individuals participating in the LearningRx programs.\nFocus on strengthening core cognitive skills that are outlined in the Trainers Manual.\nBe familiar with each program offered by LearningRx and understand the various delivery methods.\nResponsible for planning and recording each session.\nCommunicate with parents on daily progress.\nCommunicate with Site Manager regarding student performance, successes, and concerns.\nAdhere to safety policies and procedures.\nAll other duties as assigned by the Site Manager.\n\nEXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:\nAssociate degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred. (i.e. medical field, Psychology, COTA, PTA) Will consider 2nd/3rd year students.\n1-2 years previous experience in an education/coaching/training setting preferred.\nStrong reading and spelling skills.\nBasic working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.\nAbility to operate office equipment including computers, printers, faxes, and copiers.\nExcellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
