Police Officer
The Johnson Police Department, located in NW Arkansas between Fayetteville and Springdale, is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. We are a small, family oriented police department, focusing on community based policing.
Salary range: $46,080 to $60,632 per year, depending on experience and certifications (pay range includes holiday pay).
Education and Certification Pay available.
Qualifications:
Law Enforcement certified, which means you have graduated from a police training academy and have a law enforcement certification.
Out of state law enforcement certification may be accepted. Equivalency set by the Arkansas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (CLEST).
Requirements:
Previously employed as a full-time Police Officer. (prior experience preferred)
Must have graduated from a Law Enforcement academy.
At least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
US Citizen (refer to Arkansas CLEST requirements)
High school graduate or GED.
