In this role you will support challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the Nation's security and intelligence mission.\r\nThe Geospatial Enterprise Open Data Store (GEODS) contract provides integration, design, development, and sustainment for data services in support of the Federal Government.\r\nThe Senior System Administrator is responsible for overseeing the testing of products from development to operational deployment, working with Scrum Masters and developers through the requirements process and contributing to a robust, organized Backlog and streamlined Roadmap for the GEODS program.\r\nWork Schedule: M – F, 3PM – 11PM\r\nEssential Responsibilities\r\nProvide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of cloud systems\r\nIsolate and resolve problems involving the applications, operating system, hardware, communications, other infrastructure, or any combination as needed\r\nPrepare problem reports to appropriate leads like Amazon/C2S, NGA-ESC, etc.\r\nProvide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers\r\nDeploy operating system and application software to cloud compute resources.\r\nIsolate and resolve hardware and software problems involving the applications, operating system, hardware, communications infrastructure, or any combination of these\r\nTroubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance\r\nIntegrate new technologies into new and existing systems including the transition and migration of corporate systems\r\nMonitor and report on system health using various dashboarding tools such as Elasticsearch Kibana, AWS Cloudwatch, etc.\r\nTS/SCI level security clearance with CI scope Polygraph\r\nThe ability to report and work on-site daily (this role is not remote).\r\nMinimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)\r\nSecurity Clearance Required\r\nTS/SCI level security clearance with Polygraph\r\nMinimum Education\r\nBachelor's degree plus 5 years experience\r\nAssociate's degree plus 7 years experience or a minimum of 8 years of experience, in a related field\r\nMinimum Years of Experience\r\nBachelor's degree plus 5 years experience\r\nAssociate's degree plus 7 years experience, or a minimum of 8 years of experience, in a related field\r\nRequired Certifications\r\nCloud Certification, preferably AWS, OCI, Google cloud\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nDemonstrated proficiency with the AWS C2S suite and services.\r\nExperience administering and managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure\r\nTroubleshooting and providing AWS technical support to the NGA enterprise.\r\nSenior level experience managing and administering Linux/Windows based systems including patching, updates, and configuration management.\r\nExperience with Active Directory and managing/maintaining Windows servers\r\nAnalyze logs and troubleshoot issues on EC2 instances by establishing SSH connections using tools such as MobaXterm or Putty; create IAM users/roles/policies per user requests.\r\nWriting JSON IAM/S3 policies to administer access to various IAM roles and S3 objects.\r\nExperience using ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, etc.\r\nUsing LDAP to administer account creation & management on various Linux Servers.\r\nProvide support, improve and implement internal components and applications on top of multiple clusters.\r\nAs part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment, Amentum is a drug-free workplace and requires all personnel to comply with company drug and alcohol policies as a condition of employment.
