{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"bedd6274f7ddec88aa4e9ea1","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/bedd6274f7ddec88aa4e9ea1","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/bedd6274f7ddec88aa4e9ea1","title":"Project Engineer","description":"Job Title – Project Engineer\nLocation – Santa Clara, California\nDuration: Full Time\nSUMMARY:\nThe Project Engineer provides engineering support to project teams.\nYou must understand, design and independently prepare technical engineering plans.\nYou must effectively collaborate with technicians to complete technical design plans.\nYou will aid in all technical aspects of projects, conduct engineering research, assessments, and coordinate with private consultants and public agencies.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nCarries out tasks assigned by the Project Lead and engineering team.\nDevelops working drawings for civil design plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D (grading, drainage, utility, stormwater management and street frontage improvements) from sketches.\nUses engineering judgment to perform duties and knows when to ask questions, seek assistance or perform independent research.\nProvide accurate design of on-site and off-site improvements for the planning and construction of commercial, industrial, and/or high-density residential projects that are ready for construction.\nProvide accurate design of grading, drainage, utilities and stormwater treatment.\nPerforms civil engineering calculations, SWPPP’s and other engineering reports.\nEDUCATION:\nBachelor’s degree in civil engineering or an equivalent level of experience\n5+ years of experience in land development\nEngineering in training (EIT) or Professional Engineering License, CA\nGeneral knowledge of computers, Microsoft office, Adobe, Internet, etc.\nExperience with AutoCAD required\nAdditional software experience a plus, e.g. Bluebeam, Agtek, Hydrology/Hydraulic Software, AutoCad Civil 3D\nJob Benefits:\nMedical, Dental and Vision 100% paid for by Kier & Wright for you + family\n401(k) and Profit Sharing\nPaid Holidays\nGenerous PTO\nFree office snacks\nJob Type: Contract\nPay: $100,000.00 -
